Wendy Greuel for City Controller
Improving road travel with common-sense solutions
Councilwoman Greuel knows how frustrating it is to sit behind a garbage truck at rush hour, or to wait twenty minutes to make a left turn. One of her top priorities is addressing the day-to-day inconveniences of Los Angeles traffic. As chair of the City’s Transportation Committee, she is working with City departments, fellow Councilmembers and the Mayor’s office, to reduce congestion by implementing immediate and innovative policies.
Councilwoman Greuel is creating a legacy of effective, common-sense traffic solutions.

- Expanding the City's bike network.
- Increasing commuter benefits to ease the burden of transportation expenses for businesses and workers
As Councilwoman Greuel continues her mission to cut congestion in Los Angeles, she is working on long-term plans to upgrade the Los Angeles public transit system. To truly reduce congestion the City must provide alternatives to car travel. With the help of City departments, state and federal funds, and city leaders, Councilwoman Greuel is laying the foundation for seamless networks of subways, busways, and bikeways.
